Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Location: Sterling, VA
Job Duties: Prepare and analyze the company’s accounting records and financial statements; develop and implement recordkeeping and accounting systems; review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences; report to management regarding the company’s finances; examine inventory to verify journal and ledger entries; analyze business operations, costs, revenues and financial commitments to project future revenues and expenses; develop and analyze budgets; process invoices for payment.
Requirements: Position requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance or Accounting. Position also requires at least 12 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of Accounting Manager or Treasurer.
